Since January 2009, I have been doing my rotations as a Dietetic Intern for Central Michigan University's program in the Tri-City area. In addition to my B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics, I am also working towards a M.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics. Prior to this internship, I worked in Chicago as a Certified Health Professional and Training Coordinator for the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program for over a year. Just before that, I interned under the supervision of a Nutrition Scholar in Makati City, Philippines in the Summer of 2007, where I carefully observed and studied a malnourished family. From the words of an aspiring dietitian: "You really are what you eat...and much, much more."
