I am 54 and am bridging my LPN to an RN and plan on getting my masters by the time I reach 58. Yes, it is a struggle but I enjoy serving in the medical profession. When I was younger, I worked as a paramedic and thoroughly enjoyed it not to mention I learned so much "in the trenches". Only the good Lord knows what area I will work in. I like investigative medicine and yet I am also interested in pediatric endocrinology.
